MICHAEL SEMENOV, CFA - CEO

Michael Semenov joined development business of Renova StroyGroup early 2008 straight from the asset management industry. Before he was appointed Chief executive officer, Mikhail Semenov held the position of Director for Global Strategy, Asset Management and International Business Development for one year. Michael possesses more than twelve years of experience managing Russian and international equity and balanced portfolios with the particular emphasis on stocks of development companies and real estate funds.

Before Renova StroyGroup Michael managed assets and structured products for international clients with investment management firms Alliance-Continental and BCS Asset Management in Moscow, managed institutional and High-Net-Worth clientele monies with PioGlobal Asset Management, bank Menatep, Russian Investors, prime investment manager for the oil giant Yukos co. as well as helped private clientele to grow their wealth with Merrill Lynch in San Francisco and New York. Michael completed fulltime MBA program at the University of San Francisco, McLaren School of Business and is a graduate of Moscow Academy of Economics, Statistics and Informatics. Michael has been awarded “Best Portfolio Manager Award” by Euromoney in 1998 and holds Merrill Lynch Certified Financial Manager Designation, S7, S63, S65, Life Insurance licenses. Michael is a member of New York and San Francisco analyst associations.
