09.06.2008 Renova StroyGroup presents an architectural concept of the new mixed-use business center
Renova StroyGroup Company finished elaboration of the architectural concept for the mixed-use business center that is to be built in the downtown of Yekaterinburg City. The business center will be situated at the site of 1.8 ha not far from town-hall, 600 m from central square of Yekaterinburg.
Architectural concept of the business center implies realization of business infrastructure projects (office center), housing (business-premium category flats), as well as hotels, retail centers and restaurants. Administrative building existing today on the site bordering with Lenin Avenue will be reconstructed. As a signpost and visual focus to the new precinct, the tallest element will be located towards the centre of the site. The two-storied architectural monument at the site will be restored. Besides reconstruction and restoration of the existing buildings construction of the few new buildings is to be done. This approach will allow fitting of a new project into the existing surroundings.
A wide range of construction of building and make-up materials and original architectural solutions will guarantee the uniqueness and integrity of the project and will highlight it within landscape of the city. Realization of the project implies creation of strategic partnerships with large development companies having experience in creation of large A-class office projects in Russia and abroad.
Construction of the 100 000 sq.m. mixed-use business center starts in the first quarter of 2009. In the close future the demolition of the old buildings at the site will be started. First stage of the mixed-use business center is to be delivered in the first quarter of 2010, project will be finished in the beginning of 2013. Total project cost – approx. $400 mln.
Mixed-use business center is a fundamentally new product for commercial real estate market of Yekaterinburg. Besides realization of this project will allow to substantially improve ecological situation in the central part of Yekaterinburg by removal of the industrial production outside the city.
