In 2009 Renova StroyGroup commissioned over 100 thousand sq.m. of housing. Even during the crisis construction did not stop.

Mr. Golubitsky considers that the most important event of the last year was moving of the first residents to Akademia City (Yekaterinburg).

The year of 2010 is quite likely to become a breakthrough year for the company. Renova-StroyGroup intends to commission 350 thousand sq.m. of housing in Akademia City and a significant amount of residential real estate in the Moscow Region.

In 2009, 50 thousand sq.m. of housing was built for the Ministry of Defense. In 2010 the Ministry of Defense will receive 205.1 sq.m. of residential real estate.

The company is currently working on an integrated urban development project Yablonevy Posad in Yaroslavl (1 million sq.m.).

According to Mr. Golubitsky, the crisis changed the company’s policy but not its strategy. “We started building economy class housing first realizing that this segment has the highest demand in crisis”.
Forecasts and Prospects

Due to large scale projects, the company gets profit not due to a high price per square meter but due to large volumes of developed housing. These projects guarantee the company’s stability for 10-15 years and eliminate dependence on mid-term (7-10 years) cycles of the real estate market.

Renova StroyGroup is quite confident, and its President is likely to remain one of the leaders in the industry for many years to come.

Something Personal

Mr. Golubitsky enjoys reading and writes his own poetry. His fifth book of poems is under way. He likes photography and is working on photo album with his friends-artists.

He agrees with Ingmar Bergman that it is essential what choice we make in tempting circumstances. “I radically changed my life and lifestyle several times, and I have never regretted it. I always tell my children not to be afraid of making choices”, says Mr. Golubitsky.
