Renova StroyGroup is currently working on design and construction of a new residential district situated in the south-west of Yekaterinburg, one of Russia’s largest cities. Academia City is the first in a series of integrated urban development projects implemented by the company. This district is to blend into the city and will comprise large amounts residential and commercial real estate, shopping areas and office buildings.

The city planning concept envisions construction of an entertainment and shopping centre with the GLA total of 300 000 m2 having no analogues in Russia, as well as construction of a congress hall, an exhibition centre and a diplomatic quarter (a block where diplomatic missions and consulates of foreign countries accredited in Yekaterinburg will be located).

The Akademia City project is being implemented by Renova StroyGroup in partnership with municipal and federal authorities. The city planning concept was developed by Valode & Pistre Architectes (France) in co-operation with the Yekaterinburg municipal enterprise “Master Plan Workshop” and is based on the Master Plan of Yekaterinburg.
