Housing

One of the guiding principles of the residential development inside Akademia City has been its democratic nature. There will be no division into enclosed posh and poor areas. Owners of all types of households will have equal access to the high quality social, engineering and road infrastructure. Generally, the project aims at provision of comfortable and affordable housing.

The housing stock of Akademia City will consist of the following housing classes:

 
Economy class (51-53%).
Rated level of comfort – 20 m2 per capita, the so-called “municipal” level of finishing. Includes all the necessary social infrastructure and is mainly located along the main district streets with the installed trolleybus lines.
 
 
     
 
Middle class (30-33%). 
Rated level of comfort – 30 m2 per capita. Higher level of comfort (improved inner layout, larger rooms of regular geometric forms), all flats built according to state-of-the-art construction technologies and standards, yards, blocks and street infrastructure tailored to the needs and wishes of the household owners.
     
 
Business class (11%).
Rated level of comfort – 50 m2 per capita. Apartments with free inner layout, two or more bathrooms, box rooms and balconies. Houses built according to individual design allowing panoramic glazing and better views. Further differentiating elements: design halls, conservatories, observation platforms and landscape design of the fenced-in yards. 
     
 
Elite class (4%)
Rated level of comfort – 50 m2 per capita. Exclusive design solutions such as penthouses with separate entrance and private elevators and well-developed commercial infrastructure at the disposal of household owners only.
     
 
Townhouse (1%)
The main parameters are the same as for the elite class. The difference is that townhouses are located in the south and in the north of the region, close to the forestland.
